The Concept

  • FEP Finance Club is proud to announce the Equity Research Challenge, a unique opportunity for the participants to develop their knowledge in business valuation whilst challenging themselves. Participants will have the opportunity to have the equity valuation reports accessed by a panel of professionals and professors, who will provide valuable feedback on their work.

Requirements:

• Teams must be between 2 and 5 members.

• The report is limited to a maximum of 10 pages for the main content + 10 pages for annexes.

• Working language: Portuguese or English (at the participants’ discretion)

There will be 3 diferent training sessions designed to help participants to better develope their valuation reports.

25th of March 18h30 – 20h, by Tiago Veiga Anjos, CFA Society

Given by CFA Society Portugal, this training session will focus on how to write a Business Valuation Report at the CFA level.

[28th March – 1st April] – to be determined

This sessions where designed to help all participants to better understand the challenge by presenting a practical example of a valuation.

[18th-22nd] of April – to be determined

The last sessions, by KPMG, will show the importance of business valuation in the consulting world, and how it is applied there.
